INTRODUCTION
This topic is all about the Killing of animals in Kerala.
Kerala may be a great state to be born in as a human—it’s turning out to be a hellish place for animals. Nearly 30 stray dogs were killed in Kerala's Varkala by angry locals. On the other hand a recent gruesome killing of a pregnant wild elephant using a pineapple stuffed with firecrackers has triggered national outrage over how wild animals are being treated in the state that calls itself God’s own country.
Laws that Protect Animals in India
It shall be the duty of every citizen of India to protect and improve the natural environment including forests, lakes, rivers and wildlife, and to have compassion for living creatures.
Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act :
The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act was enacted in 1960 to prevent the infliction of unnecessary pain or suffering on animals and to amend the laws relating to the prevention of cruelty to animals. After the enactment of this Act, the Animal Board of India was formed for the promotion of animal welfare.
The Wildlife Protection Act :
The Government of India enacted Wildlife (Protection) Act 1972 with the objective to effectively protect the wildlife of this country and to control poaching, smuggling and illegal trade in wildlife and its derivatives. The Act was amended in January 2003 and punishment and penalty for offences under the Act have been made more stringent.
Facts of the topic
Elephant Was Not Fed a Pineapple Stuffed With Firecrackers:
Mannarkkad Divisional Forest Officer K Sunil Kumar clarified that there is no confirmation that the animal had consumed a pineapple, as dictated by media reports.
He said that the locals could not have fed a fruit stuffed with live firecrackers to a wild elephant inside the forest as that would be very dangerous. However this was an act done by some people living in the forest fringes to keep the animals away from their cultivated land, and the officials said that harming any animal for any reason was highly condemned.
Kerala Forest Minister K Raju on Friday assured that the forest department has appointed three teams for investigation and the police is also investigating the matter. The stray dog population of Kerala is estimated to be about two hundred and fifty thousand.
According to a report submitted in the Supreme Court of India, more than hundred thousand people were attacked by stray dogs in the year of 2015-16.

Many on Social Media Communalism the Incident and Abused the Muslim Community:
Tweets by verified accounts on Twitter, including Amar Prasad Reddy, media advisor to Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Supreme Court Advocate Prashant Patel and journalist Deepak Chaurasia named two Muslim men - Amzath Ali and Thamim Shaikh, as those arrested in the case. They both called it “Fake news”.
If we see towards the group who is benefited directly
Farmers: who live near forests often suffer extensive damage to their crops from wildlife that strays on to their properties. Often, farmers would have borrowed money to plant their crops and risk losing their land and livelihood if they lose their crops. They adopt all kinds of measures to keep wild animals away. So now their crops are safe and they can earn good money.
Consequence: It tears animal families apart. Some animals form very close bonds with their families-Just like we do! Like humans no one want their family to die. Even the animals also have heart and families too.
Effect on Society
So many people are against to this but everyone have their own problem and story. Maybe the farmers and people of kerala have the different story behind these incidence.
At the end I just want to conclude that every human being and animal have their own life, Family and story. We as a people don’t have any right to kill anyone in this planet. We are nobody who can play with anyone’s emotion. We have no right to force anybody to do anything or punish anyone without any reason or can order anybody without having any right.
We should treat everyone equally as well should understand others feelings.
